Thread Ready Canopy Conversion Kit - 1/4 IPS

When you want to create a flush mount fixture, try a little modern tubing instead. Like a puzzle, working with tubing is all about finding the right connections. And, in order to convert your canopy into a home for threaded applications, you need to swap out or add on thread-ready components to welcome tubing according to the IPS style.

The Thread Ready Canopy Conversion Kit is made up of parts that will convert our existing canopies to accept threaded components in 1/4 IPS or can be used on a blank canopy for custom creations. For the blank canopies, you will need to drill a hole in the desired location using a 1/4" drill bit. Simply replace the cord grip portion of the canopy and replace it with this kit. A lock nut and washer are provided for assembly in addition to a coupler and threaded nipple that create the transition.

For our raw metal and raw brass finishes, keep in mind that these are untreated and designed to have a natural, industrial look. So they are intended to be in their raw state with imperfections and color variations, which will oxidize and tarnish over time similar to upcycled applications. However, our raw finish is perfect for anyone that wants to buff and polish the brass to their liking or sand and paint the metal to the color of your choosing.
