    Electrical & Wiring Inquires

    Color Cord Company personnel do not give recommendations on how to wire or what applications to use our products.  Actions such as hard-wiring a pendant set or making any type of light fixture from our products should be done so at your own risk. Please consult a licensed electrician for all electrical and wiring inquiries.

    Gift Cards

    Color Cord Company gift cards are delivered by email. Our gift cards have no additional processing fees or expiration date. Gift Cards are not redeemable for cash, and can only be redeemed at www.colorcord.com. When using a gift card enter the code under the "Billing & Payment" section at checkout. Gift cards can be used with another form of payment if your total exceeds the gift card value.

    Returns & Exchanges 

    We accept returns and exchanges for eligible products within 30 days of purchase. However, some items are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Please review the details below:

    Final Sale & Non-Returnable Items

    • DIY pendant light cord sold by the foot – Cut-to-order and cannot be returned or exchanged.
    • Light bulbs – Due to their fragile nature, bulbs are not eligible for return shipping.
    • Custom-made items – Includes customized  fixtures such as sconces, chandeliers, canopies, whips and pendants which are made to order, along with limited-edition collections (Boutique, Artist Collaborations, and Totally), as these are exclusive releases available for a limited time.
    • Bulk orders of 10 or more light fixtures – final sale and cannot be returned due to high labor and inventory demand.
    • Sale priced items – Discontinued and last chance purchase products are final sale only, as noted on the product page.

    Reporting Defects & Damage Claims

    • Inspect your order upon arrival and report any defects or damage within 7 days.
    • Contact us at info@colorcord.com with images of the issue, your order number, and keep the original packaging.
    • After 7 days, we will make every effort to assist, but additional charges may apply.
    • All order issues must be reported in a single claim within 7 days of receipt.

    Return Eligibility

    To qualify for a return:

    • Items must be unused, in original condition, and in original packaging.
    • Products that have been modified (e.g., cord length altered, stickers removed from sockets) are not eligible.
    • Custom and final sale products are not returnable.
    • If you’re unsure whether your item is eligible, please reach out to us at info@colorcord.com.

    Replacement & Refunds

    • If approved for return, refunds or replacements will be issued accordingly.
    • Color Cord Company reserves the right to refuse returns or replacements for items that are not in as-new condition due to damage or misuse.
    • Any replacements will be subject to the original 30-day return window.

    How to make a Return:

    • You may return eligible items if you are not satisfied with the color or style.  We will make refund the value of the item returned. It is up to you to pay return shipping. We do not provide return shipping labels or credit.  If your item has damage or a defect, please reach out to us and we will determine the next steps.
    • Returned and Exchanged items must be in new condition and unused. It is up to you and your selected shipping method to ensure the items are received in our facility damage free
    • Please contact us to request a Return Authorization via email at info@colorcord.com.  All returns  must be approved beforehand.  Once we have approved your return, we will send you further instructions.
    • All returns must be postmarked within 14 days of email authorization in order for the return to be processed for original payment method. If orders are postmarked after 14 days, only a store credit can be issued. 
    • After your Return is processed, you will be issued a credit for the value of the item.  Items shipped to us without a Return Authorization we will contact you.
    • Please note: Color Cord Company cannot assume responsibility for reimbursement or compensation for packages lost in transit without proof of delivery to us. Please ship with a method that has tracking.
