Overview

Our SJT-5 18g Fabric Wire is a 5-conductor specialty cord for specialized wiring applications that require more than the standard 3-conductor configuration. Available in multiple cloth-cover colors, sold by the foot. Please note this wire is not designed for use with our sockets, canopies, or other lighting accessories; for pendant and fixture wiring, see our 18g SVT wire collection instead.

Construction & Details

This SJT 18-gauge wire features five conductor wires — white, black, green, gray, and violet — in a thermoplastic insulated PVC jacket, finished with a high-quality braided rayon cloth cover. It is fully UL Listed, reflecting our commitment to safe, high-quality products, and is rated to 300V. We recommend ordering 1–2 feet more than you think you need to allow for length cuts and wire stripping. Maximum weight rating depends on your final application and assembly. As with all wiring projects, we recommend consulting a licensed electrician.
