I actually had a problem with my first order where the pre-installed thumb switch didn’t work. I needed the cord for a ceramic lamp that I built for an upcoming art show. Got a replacement through Color Cord Co.’s great customer service and it turned out great. I love how easy it is to assemble the whips to the sockets. And the customizable colors, thumb switches and lengths are a great bonus. I also like the availability of sleek thread covers for the sockets. Will definitely use this company again for future projects. Special thanks to Rachel who made it super easy to solve my dilemma.

I have bought cheap DIY cord kits in the past with mixed results. This is not that, this is so much more and honestly my expectations were far exceeded. I had some sconce style lamps but the thing that has bothered me for so long is the in line dimmer (so many companies do this now) that would cause my smart bulbs to hum. I decided the cost of my time and materials to rewire the two lights was worth the try of color cord company. The product I received was packaged and shipped nicely and the level of customization in both colors and length was terrific. Could not recommend this company enough and I will definitely keep them in mind if I have another wiring project in the future.

I ordered one set of 8 foot custom light cord and socket, and one 16 foot custom light cord and socket. Both arrived quickly, and as described. I was impressed by the UL listing, and the quality of the fabric encased cord, and socket sets.
