Perfect! We had Color Cord sockets and cords with bare bulbs for a couple years. My husband didn’t like the bare bulbs the light was too harsh. So I ordered the small tan linen shades. The light is warm the shades fit into a very small bedroom nicely....couldn’t be better!

I tend to dislike fabric shades, but made a compromise with my husband when we ordered this one. I was pleasantly surprised to see that it looks great! Well made, and lets through an ample amount of light.

The lights in my guest room/office were just too bright. The shades make the room much more inviting and "finished." Now I just have to make the rest of the room worthy of the shades, and it will be lovely!

These small shades are great, and paired with the plug-in pendants these make excellent bedside reading lamps, which don't take up nightstand space. Perfect size, and create a nice mellow light. We've now got 5 of these throughout our bedrooms.
